Amy Brewer, OTD, OTR/L

Amy

(she/her/hers)

Amy first learned about occupational therapy (OT) as a teenager through an amazing family she babysat for. After observing an OT session in their home, Amy knew she had found something special but was initially intimidated by the amount of schooling required to become an OT. Amy went on to attend college and graduated with a bachelor's degree in recreation therapy. Amy worked as a recreation therapist in brain injury rehabilitation for five years before deciding to take the leap and go back to school to become an OT. With her background in recreation therapy, Amy enjoys making therapy fun, playful, and tailored to the interests of each child she works with. When she’s not at Pediatric Possibilities, Amy enjoys being an aunt to her four nephews and two nieces, spending time outside, running, hiking, rock climbing, cooking, traveling, volunteering with church, and hanging out with family and friends.
