Chelsea enjoys working with children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. During her sessions, she strives to create an environment which encourages skill development through connection, co-regulation, and play. She loves being able to connect with children and aims to collaborate with their caregivers through provision of parent education, home programming, and partnering to develop strategies that will work well for their family. Chelsea is certified in the Get Permission feeding approach as well as the Safe and Sound Protocol. She has also completed trainings on caregiver coaching, creating and implementing sensory diets, and trauma informed care. Chelsea loves that Pediatric Possibilities is a workplace that fosters a genuine commitment to lifelong learning, as she feels this allows her to better her treatment through the application of evidence-based practice.
When she’s not at Pediatric Possibilities, you can find her spending time with friends, kayaking, reading, crafting, or cheering on NC State sports teams.
Her colleagues add that they appreciate her down-to-earth personality, caring nature and fantastic sense of humor! She cares so deeply for her clients and it shows everyday in her approach to treatment!
