While each of our therapists bring their own unique strengths to treatment, there are common styles and approaches to intervention that Pediatric Possibilities, as a clinic, prioritizes. First and foremost, we utilize Ayres Sensory Integration as a foundation for treatment. This is the lens through which we analyze the strengths and areas of need for children, and how we develop our therapeutic activities. In addition, we draw from the principles of DIR Floortime in how we approach the children we work with and facilitate engagement in order to build a relationship rooted in trust and safety. This extends to our approach to feeding therapy, where we lay a foundation of safety and internal exploration through the "Get Permission Approach."
Our therapists participate in ongoing learning, both individually and as a team, at Pediatric Possibilities. This includes individual weekly mentoring, team case studies, group and individual continuing education courses, as well as informal collaboration and joint problem solving. Our therapists value deepening their understanding, sharing knowledge, and continuing to expand their expertise to better support the families they work with.
