Throughout Dawn’s many years as an occupational therapist she has had the incredible opportunity to receive mentoring and training from many outstanding master therapists in the OT field and beyond, and has become friends with many of them. Dawn strongly values this type of mentoring and actively promotes similar professional learning opportunities for her staff through trainings and mentoring. Dawn supports herself and the team to stay curious, always learning with neuroscience, sensory integration, connection, regulation/co-regulation, polyvagal theory and beyond to provide high quality therapy. It is important for her that the next generation of OTs not only stays up-to-date with current science and evidence, but also is supported in the foundational principles and values of occupational therapy; namely meaningful engagement in daily life.

When she isn't being curious about OT-related things, she is being curious via reading, traveling, gardening, playing with grandchildren or walking on the beach enjoying the waves, sand, pelicans and sunsets. She has recently started exploring photography and water colors. 

Dawn is dedicated to the role Pediatric Possibilities serves for the community and cares deeply for connecting people and serving families! She invests in her therapists’ learning and is driven to grow the next generation of leaders in the field! Her team is so grateful for her dream of founding Pediatric Possibilities and commitment to its growth over the last 20+ years!
